MicroVision MV-Pro digital microscope is fitted with High Precision Optical Glass Lens, used typically in expensive microscopes in delivering Crystal Clear, Sharp and vibrant color images. Lower end digital microscope lens available are commonly made in “transparent thermo plastic” lens.
*A quick comparison in vision clarity can be made by seeing though, a plastic and a glass lens spectacles.

MV- 2 - PL is equipped with a full rotation Polarizer filter capable in reduces or eliminating the " HOT " Spots from highly
reflective surfaces and providing uniform illumination to bring out more surface detail with minimal glare. |

What is Polarization and what does a Polarized filter do ?
When a light strike a surface, it becomes polarized. Which means that the photons in the light are all vibrating in single direction,
Instead of in random directions. This phenomenon is what causes the glare reflected from a car window or chrome, or from a wet pavement.
This glare distorts the real color of objects and makes them harder to distinguish. It also causes a mirror effect on wet surfaces,
so that objects beneath the water's surface cannot be visibly distinguished.
Polarized lense filter the waves of light by absorbing some of the reflected glare while allowing other light waves to pass through them.
The general illustration of how a polarized lens works to reduce glare is to think o the lens as a venetian blind.
These blinds obstruct light that strikes them from particular angles, while allowing light from other angles to pass through.
A polarizing lens works ones it is positioned at a 90 degree angle to the source of glare.

No doubt many digital microscope comes with measurement software that claims to achieve a 99% accuracy...
But, this will not work if you Do Not have a proper setup requirements.
All handheld microscope works in the same principal on a fix distance and height.
Once you focus and calibrate on any handheld microscope at a known magnification on a scale bar (eg 50x), and move to measure the
actual object will give you a completely different reading, because you will need to re-focus again..
And this affects your magnification reading ! So how do you expect to get a 99% accuracy reading ?
